Port Washington High School is proud to announce that Garett Kawczynski is the WIAA Division 1 State Champion in the 215-pound division!

After coming close in previous years, the junior wrestler delivered a dominant performance in the state finals, defeating Ayden Grulke of Hartford with an impressive 20-3 technical fall victory. Kawczynski took control early with three takedowns in the opening period and sealed the title with a four-point nearfall in the third.
