Welcome to the home of the Port Washington Pirates Boys Cross Country Team! Led by Head Coach Mark Pasten, the Pirates compete in the highly competitive North Shore Conference and represent Port Washington in the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) at the Division II level.
The program features two levels of competition: Varsity and JV, providing opportunities for athletes of all experience levels to develop their skills and contribute to the team’s success. Known for their dedication, teamwork, and perseverance, the Pirates continue to build a tradition of excellence both on and off the course.

State 2024!
We placed 6th as a team at state! Alex came in 6th with a 16:00:20😔🔥 and Jamo placed 28th with 16:47, Alexis with 17:44(86th), John with 17:45(89th), Pete with 18:00(100th💯), Connor with 19:34(147th) and Ezra with 20:15(149th).
It’s been an amazing year for us, and we are super proud of our work.

STATEBOUND.
Placed 1st🥇 in our sectional with 43 points! Alex placed 2nd(16:04), Jamo with 5th(17:05), John with 9th(17:12), Alexis with 12th(17:20 PR🔥) and Pete with 15th(17:46 PR🤪). We’ve put in a lot of work this season, and it feels great to see it all come together.

Angel Invite 2024‼️
The team placed 3rd with 158 points! Alex placed 4th(16:20), Jamo placed 11th(16:48), John placed 42nd(17:49), Alexis placed 48th(18:05), Pete placed 54th(18:16) and Connor placed 99th(19:14 PR). Overall we did good and the conditions were decent.
Also we got a 3rd place team finish at Nightfall last week! ( didn’t have any pics for it🫣).

1st PLACE TEAM WITH 68 POINTS!! Alex got 2nd(16:20), Jamo got 5th(16:44 PR), John got 16th(17:39 first race👀), Pete got 21st(17:56), Alexis got 24th(17:58), and Connor got 58th(19:39). Great effort from the team!!! LOTS more to look forward to.‼️🫣🤞🔥😤🥶🏆
Hoehnke-Hill Milwaukee River Invite 2024
We’reeee Backkkk!!! Great day to start the season off. We had 4 people medal, and some pr’s! Alex came in 4th(16:34), Jamo in 23rd(17:40), Alexis in 29th(17:51 PR), Pete in 33rd(18:05), and Connor in 68th(19:21 PR). The team had 150 points overall. Much more to come, stay tuned🔥🙏🥶🔜‼️
